Editorial policy
How Living+ Peptides researches, writes, reviews and updates every page.
Our standard
Every page aims to tell you what is known, what is not, and where the information comes from. We write in plain, short sentences.
How we write about research
- For peptides the FDA has not approved, we say what a peptide was "studied for" and cite the study. We do not say it heals, cures, works or is proven.
- We describe the type of study: lab, animal or human, and how many people took part.
- Doses appear only as doses used in published studies, with the citation. Dosing is set by a licensed provider.
- We do not publish mixing, reconstitution or injection instructions for unapproved peptides.
Status boxes
Every peptide page has a status box that shows its FDA and compounding status, the date we last verified it, and links to the primary records we checked.
Bylines and review
Pages carry the byline "Living+". We add "Reviewed by" only when a licensed clinician has actually reviewed that page, and we show the review date.
Compliance review
Every page passes a compliance review before it goes live. Drafts are never published automatically.
Independence
This site sells nothing. It has no advertisers, sponsors or affiliate partners, and no vendor pays for coverage.
Updates
We recheck status boxes when the FDA, the Federal Register or the DEA publishes a relevant change. Material changes are listed in our corrections log.
